Collect from Shop Policy

Collect from shop is a free option at checkout when placing your order.

With COVID-19 restrictions it's currently a 5 day service and you are able to collect your order from 10.30am to 4.30pm from our collection point just next to our University Gift Shop in the Gilbert Scott Building, University Avenue.

  • Choose to pick-up when you checkout
  • We will confirm by email when your order is ready to collect - this is usually around 1-2 days after you place your order, except when you order items noted as being out of stock
  • Please bring a note of your order number with you and ring the bell outside the back door of the shop for service.
  • Staff will then find your order and ask you to step back while we set it down on the collection table for you.
  • The collection point is outside so you do not technically need to wear a face covering.
  • Hand sanitiser is available at the collection point.

Your Order's Expiration: We will hold your order at our shop for up to 6 months, during this time we will be in touch to remind you to collect you order 3 times. After this period of time we will return the order to our shop stock. We will not refund your order after this time.

I've lost my order confirmation email or SMS message - what can I do?

Please check the junk mail folder within your email account, as occasionally confirmation emails can end up here. We will ask you a couple of security questions when you do collect your order from the shop and you haven't got your confirmation.

I haven't had an email or SMS message to confirm my order is ready to collect - what should I do?

It's most likely because we haven't processed your order yet and it isn't ready to collect quite yet. Please allow 2-3 working days after placing your order. We will notify you if there are any problems before then about your order.

I selected collect in shop but I need my order to be posted to me - how can I change my delivery?

There is no problem for us to change your delivery from collect in shop to being sent to you in the post. Please contact us and we will send you the link to pay for the right delivery for you! 

How can I return my collect in shop order?

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, if you are not please contact us within a month to exchange or refund your order. You can simply pop into the shop again with your order and order notification or you can contact us and send your item back. Read our full Refund & Returns Policy here.
